Sohar Hospital is a 636-bed government regional hospital located in Sohar, the capital of the Al Batinah North Governorate. It is the largest hospital outside Muscat and the principal referral centre for the entire northern region of Oman.
The hospital offers a broad range of secondary and tertiary services including emergency medicine, general surgery, obstetrics, paediatrics, orthopaedics and oncology. Its strategic location near the Sohar Industrial Port means it also handles a significant volume of occupational health and industrial injury cases.
