Overview of Mediclinic Parkview
Mediclinic Parkview Hospital is a 182-bed private, multi-specialty hospital in Al Barsha South, Dubai, at the junction of Umm Suqeim Road and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. It opened on 23 September 2018 as Mediclinic Middle East's third hospital in Dubai and seventh in the UAE, and was the largest greenfield construction project by value Mediclinic International had undertaken.
The hospital opened with 35 consultant-led specialties, 126 doctors and 220 nurses. Its facilities include a cardiac catheterisation laboratory, a 256-slice CT scanner, a 3 Tesla MRI scanner, an integrated digital operating theatre complex, a dedicated obstetrics unit with its own caesarean theatre, and a 24-hour paediatric emergency service.
Because it serves fast-growing family communities such as Arjan, Al Barsha South and Dubailand, Parkview has a strong focus on family medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology and paediatrics. Mediclinic lists 22 level III NICU beds, 15 ICU beds and eight dialysis beds at the hospital, along with a breast unit, a digestive disease unit, oncology, bariatric surgery and sports medicine.
Mediclinic Parkview was JCI accredited in November 2019, when all seven Mediclinic Middle East hospitals and 21 clinics achieved accreditation together. In January 2025 it was designated a Baby Friendly Hospital under the WHO and UNICEF Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative.
Newsweek ranked Mediclinic Parkview 16th in the UAE in its World's Best Hospitals 2026 list and placed it in its Best Specialized Hospitals Middle East 2026 ranking for oncology. Its owner, Mediclinic Middle East, is one of the largest private hospital employers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
